dovecot

Installs Dovecot (IMAP only) and serves ~/Maildir of the logged-in Unix user. Logins use PAM (the Linux password); user@domain is accepted and the domain is stripped. Debian/Ubuntu only. Requires become for the apt and config steps.

Pairs with the exim4 role (local delivery to the same Maildir) and the webmail role (Roundcube).

Set dovecot_disable_plaintext_auth: false only when dovecot listens on loopback alone. Set dovecot_exim_auth: true to expose a SASL socket that exim4 uses for authenticated SMTP (see the exim4 role's exim4_dovecot_auth).
